Make a Will and support a local charity this May

Charity   Wills   -

Planning for the future is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your loved ones, and it should feel clear and straightforward.

If you are looking to make a Will in Emsworth, this May is an ideal time to take that step. We are hosting a special Wills Event to help you put the right plans in place, all while supporting our charity of the year, The Sussex Snowdrop Trust.

Supporting local families when it matters most

As a local firm, supporting our community is at the heart of what we do. The Sussex Snowdrop Trust supports real families in our local area during some of the most challenging times imaginable.

One of those families is Snowy’s.

Snowy was just five years old when she was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. During an incredibly challenging time, The Sussex Snowdrop Trust became part of her family’s support network, providing care at home, emotional support and helping life feel a little more manageable.

Their nurses worked closely with Snowy and her family, offering flexible, compassionate care both at home and in school. This support helped bring a sense of stability during a time of uncertainty, allowing Snowy to continue enjoying everyday moments, including returning to school and spending time with her family.

Stories like Snowy’s are a powerful reminder of the difference this charity makes to local families facing some of the most difficult circumstances.

How our Wills event supports The Sussex Snowdrop Trust

From Monday 11th May to Friday 22nd May, for every appointment booked with us that results in a completed Will, we will donate £10 to The Sussex Snowdrop Trust.

This is per person, per signed Will. A couple making their Wills together would therefore generate a £20 donation.

It is a simple way to take an important step for your own future, while helping ensure that other families continue to receive the care and support they need.

The Sussex Snowdrop Trust provides specialist nursing care at home for children with life-threatening or terminal illnesses. Their team offers both practical care and emotional reassurance, helping families stay together in the comfort of their own homes. They also provide financial support, including help with travel costs for hospital treatment.

To continue this vital work, the charity relies on ongoing support from the local community, and this event is a way to make a real difference while taking an important step for your own family.

Why making a Will is so important

Putting a Will in place, or reviewing an existing one, is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your loved ones and give yourself peace of mind.

A professionally prepared Will ensures that:

  • Your wishes are clearly set out
  • Your assets are distributed as you intend
  • The people closest to you are looked after
  • Potential disputes or complications are minimised

At Belcher Addison, we take a straightforward and personal approach. We take the time to understand your circumstances and explain everything clearly, so you feel informed and confident in the decisions you make.
